What is meditative dance?

 

Meditative dance is simply an active meditation that uses the power of gestures and movement on lively music. The goal is to raise the Kundalini energy (an energy lodged like a snake at the level of our perineum). This very powerful energy gives us a new perspective on the world around us. The movements are inspired by African and Indian dances. This practice brings a deep development in joy, laughter, the real. It is an intense practice that releases endorphins and invites us towards an energy that unites us all. The session ends with a guided meditation and a Tibetan bowl cleanse.
